child fitness tax credit
How to obtain your tax receipt
The Government of Canada created a new tax credit in 2007 to encourage increased physical activity in children. You can claim up to a maximum of $500 per child, for elegible fees paid in 2016 for the cost of registration or membership for your or your spouse's or common-law partner's child in a prescribed program of physical activity. The children's fitness tax credit will be eliminated for 2017. Please visit the Canada Revenue Agency website for more information about the Children's Fitness Tax Credit.
You can obtain a receipt for your child's soccer registration fees by accessing your BONZI MEMBER account.
2. Click on the 'My Registrations' tab.
3. Click on 'Print Form' to obtain a copy of the registration form and click on 'Print Statement' to obtain a copy of payment information. Both these documents should be used if you intend to claim a tax credit on your income tax return.
