FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if I am setting up my home field for a game and nets or corner flags are missing?

If this happens at UBC, likely equipment has been dragged from one of Warren, Varisty or Baseball field to another field. Check the other fields for extra supplies, and particularly check the storage boxes at Warren and Baseball.

Whenever you are stuck for field equipment at any field, you should look for the name and phone number of the volunteer who is responsible for stocking that field. This information should be taped to the inside lid of the storage box. Call to let him/her know what is missing. If this does not result in an immediate solution, the storage box at Memorial Field (SE corner of field, by the baseball storage box) on Dunbar Street will be kept stocked with extra corner flags/bases and nets. Send a parent with your equipment box key to that site to collect what you need.

Note: At the Divisional Level of Play the Club is fined for not having the field properly equipped (net and corner flags) and lined. If proper field equipment is not available, or the field is not properly lined, then we need to know that as soon as possible to reduce our fines and have a suitable field of play for our members.
