The season starts the weekend after Labour Day and runs through to the first week in March with some teams playing to June if they have reached the cup phases.

Schedules for U13 - U18 are not created by VanU but by BC Coastal Soccer League with schedules being sent to the Clubs in three distinct timelines:

Schedule 1 : Will be distributed to Clubs late August/Early September for games Day 1 through to Thanksgiving.

Schedule 2: Will be distributed to Clubs over the Thanksgiving break for games taking place after Thanksgiving through to the Christmas/Winter break.

Schedule 3: Will be distributed to Clubs in the New Year for games taking place from January through to the season end.

Any cup games are scheduled and sent later in the season.

Teams at U13 - U18 are put in to Division categories (Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3) with teams in all three Divisions having a volunteer coach assigned. There is a Metro Division for players born 2005 - 2008 but this is being phased out for future age groups.
