2024 Awards Night
The 2024 VanU Awards and Recognition night at the Hollywood Theatre will be on Sunday, June 9th starting at 6:30pm. We will be recognizing the accomplishments of teams, 2006-born graduates and individuals (Players & Officials). We will have light casual food and drinks for the players as well as their parents, guardians, and siblings, who are welcome to attend as well. For adults, the Hollywood's bar will be open.
In addition to individual award winners, we are also recognizing teams that won their league title or the Coastal Cup, and are inviting all our graduating U18 players and coaches to attend.

BCCSL League Champions
Four VanU BCCSL clubs came away as League Champions this season. Congratulations to the Stars, Rangers, Raiders, and Titans on a great year!

Our U18 Nighthawks Div 1 team and U17 Metro United team have made it through to Provincials in July!

Staff News
We’re very pleased to announce one new staff member has joined us and two current staff members have been promoted to new full time positions.
Jack Longo joins us as our Communications Administrator. You’ll get to know him if and when you call us or send an email to our info@ address. He’ll also be in charge of our social media.
Meanwhile, long-time staff coach Maurice Hayes has been picked to be our Assistant Technical Director, a new position we have put in place as our programming grows. Additionally, Nick Perugini, is now our new Academy Manager.

We are now hiring an Operations Coordinator to join the VanU team!
The position is responsible to ensure that the on field aspect of operations run smoothly and effectively as well as ensuring all aspects of the the kit and equipment is managed in a timely manner.

Register for Summer Camps and 24/25 Season
VanU is pleased to be offering a number of Summer camps from June through to the end of August. Registration is open for camps from June - August, with additional camps opening by Friday for the remainder of August.
Camp locations this year include: Chaldecott Park, Jericho Turf Field, South Memorial, Eric Hamber, and Hillcrest!

All fall and winter U4 to U18 team programming is also open for registration. It's not too late to play with VanU next season!
Field Day at BC Place
We will be kicking off the 2024-25 season with a big splash!
We have secured BC Place for September 7th and 8th, the opening weekend of play this fall. We will soon be sharing how we plan to incorporate our players into what was an amazing experience for the over 600 VanU players last year at the stadium.
Annual General Meeting
Our AGM will be held on Tuesday, June 18th at Dunbar Community Centre, Room 202. Start time is 7pm.
