VanU is pleased to offer Safe Soccer Programs during the school summer holidays.

All of our VanU Camp and Academy Programs are operating under the guidelines of the Return to Play (RTP) protocol of BC Soccer and the Provincial Health Office. These will be non-contact programs where players are placed into groups based on age and ability to ensure they are challenged appropriately, maximizing their development and most importantly, having fun!

The following provides detail of our offerings for the summer:

Summer Camps - For players born 2009 - 2012 - Registration Fee $175

A five day program covering the following topics during the week:

  • Shooting and Finishing
  • Passing
  • Dribbling and Turning
  • Ball Control and Trapping

Proper technique of all skills are demonstrated and encouraged, as well as the use of both feet. Camp players will participate in an environment where they will be coached by and playing with experienced, quality soccer players and coaches.

VanU camps are about creating an enjoyable environment that players want to be a part of. That facilitates engagement and improvement as a player. The key ingredient in this is to make sure the camps are fun so we are equally dedicated to having excellent staff coaches who are experienced working with children at these ages work on fundamentals of the game but also to make sure every player leaves the camps having enjoyed the experience.
