Carnarvon Elementary

To activate the lights on the Carnarvon field, the light box is on the wall of the school. Just push the button once open to turn on the lights.

Jericho Turf

The lockbox at Jericho is located at the north end of the field, along the fence by the goal. Attached to this box is a combination lock, which is storing the key to the lockbox.

The lockbox at Jericho holds multiple sets of corner flags, two canopies and weights.

Home teams playing at Jericho are responsible for setting up corner flags and returning them to the lock box at the end of the match. Both 8-a-side and 11-a-side nets at Jericho are maintained by VanU, there is no need to set up or remove these nets.

You may leave out the corner flags for the team after you, as long as the next home team is also a Vancouver United FC team. You must double check that they know to return the corner flags to the lockbox at the end of their match.

If you choose to set up and use a canopy, you must put it away when your game has finished.

At the end of each game, double check that the key has been returned to the combination lock and everything is secure.

Locarno Park

The lockbox at Locarno is located on the east side of the field, along the fence closest to the baseball diamond. Attached to this box is a combination lock, which is storing the key to the lockbox. The code for the lock is 2083. It will be changed at the start of every season so please make sure to contact operations for the new code.

The lockbox at Locarno holds multiple sets of corner flags, nets, a field liner and paint.

Home teams playing at Locarno are responsible for setting up corner flags and nets and returning them to the lock box at the end of the match.

You may leave out the corner flags and nets for the team after you, as long as the next home team is also a Vancouver United FC team. You must double check that they know to return the corner flags and nets to the lockbox at the end of their match.

Memorial South Turf

The lockbox at Memorial West is located on the North side of the field. Attached to this box is a combination lock, which is storing the key to the lockbox.  It will be changed at the start of every season so please make sure to contact operations for the new code.

Point Grey Turf

The lockbox at Point Grey is located at the southeast side of the field, along the fence by the track. Attached to this box is a combination lock, which is storing the key to the lockbox. It will be changed at the start of every season so please make sure to contact operations for the new code.

The lockbox at Point Grey holds multiple sets of corner flags, one set of nets for games, one set of practice nets and one canopy.

Home teams playing at Point Grey are responsible for setting up nets and corner flags and returning them to the lock box at the end of the match.

You may leave the nets and corner flags for the team after you, as long as the next home team is also a Vancouver United FC team. You must double check that they know to return the nets and corner flags to the lockbox at the end of their match.

If you choose to set up and use a canopy, you must put it away when your game has finished.

Queen Elizabeth School

The first team on and last team off the field must turn the lights on and off, respectively. The small light box is affixed to the east side of the larger stand alone electrical box at the end of the walkway off Camosun Street. It is light greenish in colour on the north-east side of the portables, bordering the gravel and the paved play area. Please be very careful to press the green switch very firmly to turn the light on. Only press once - the lights will take some time to warm up. Pressing the button twice in less than 5 minutes will turn the lights off and you will have to wait 5 minutes before starting over again. You will need a key to open this box which can be obtained from the VUFC office.

Queen Elizabeth Elementary School (2 fields) - 4 Farpost goals can be removed from wooden lock box next to the portable building in between Camosun Park and Queen Elizabeth Elementary School field. Please set up goals if you are the first team to play. If you are the last to play on the day please take down goals, put all contents back in their individual bag and return to the wooden lock box.

Queen Mary

To activate the lights at Queen Mary, the box is on a light pole at the SE corner of the field. You require a coach's key to open the box. Just push the green button once open to turn on the lights.

Trafalgar

Combination lock can be found on black lock box located just behind permanent U9/U10 goals. Use key found inside to open the lock box. 2 Farpost goals can be removed from the lock box and each of them placed opposite one of the permanent goals. Please set up Farpost goals if you are the first team to play on the day. If you are the last team to play on the day please take down goals, put all contents back in their individual bag and return to the black lock box. Please then put key back into combination lock and close combination lock.

Trillium Park Turf - East

The lockbox at Trillium is located on the north side of the field, along the fence closest to the playground. Attached to this box is a combination lock, which is storing the key to the lockbox. It will be changed at the start of every season so please make sure to contact operations for the new code.

UBC Ken Woods

There are two lockboxes at Ken Woods. Both are located on the south side of the field, along the fence closest to East Mall. Attached to this box is a combination lock, which is storing the key to the lockbox. 

The first lockbox at Ken Woods holds the goals for U9/10. The second lockbox at Woods holds multiple sets of corner flags, cones, extra goals and weights.

Home teams playing at Ken Woods are responsible for setting up corner flags and returning them to the lock box at the end of the match. UBC maintains the full-size nets. There is no need to set up or remove these nets – they are permanent.

You may leave out the corner flags for the team after you, as long as the next home team is also a Vancouver United FC team. You must double check that they know to return the corner flags to the lockbox at the end of their match.

At the end of each game, double check that the key has been returned to the combination lock and everything is secure.

UBC Warren Turf

The lockbox at Warren is located on the north side of the field, along the fence by the field hockey turf. Attached to this box is a combination lock, which is storing the key to the lockbox. 

The lockbox at Warren holds multiple sets of corner flags.

Home teams playing at Warren are responsible for setting up corner flags and returning them to the lock box at the end of the match. UBC maintains the full-size nets and VanU maintains the 8-a-side nets. There is no need to set up or remove these nets – they are permanent.

You may leave out the corner flags for the team after you, as long as the next home team is also a Vancouver United FC team. You must double check that they know to return the corner flags to the lockbox at the end of their match.

At the end of each game, double check that the key has been returned to the combination lock and everything is secure.

University Hill Secondary Turf

The lockbox at UHill is located at the east side of the field, along the fence by the community centre. The VanU box is the green one. Attached to this box is a combination lock, which is storing the key to the lockbox. 

The lockbox at UHill holds multiple sets of corner flags.

Home teams playing at UHill are responsible for setting up corner flags and returning them to the lock box at the end of the match. Both 8-a-side and 11-a-side nets at UHill are maintained by the University Neighborhoods Association (UNA), there is no need to set up or remove these nets.

You may leave out the corner flags for the team after you, as long as the next home team is also a Vancouver United FC team. You must double check that they know to return the corner flags to the lockbox at the end of their match.

At the end of each game, double check that the key has been returned to the combination lock and everything is secure.
