Below is a wrap up of Our 2013 Division 1 and BCSPL Girls teams trip to Portugal.
First up, the girls got to witness a classic UEFA Champions League match!
This is just one stop on a trip that will see the girls play games against teams from Portugal to help further their development, but there’s also time for team-bonding activities like this!
We’re proud to work with our partners and members to create opportunities like this Portugal trip.
All training sessions on the trip were led by Claudia Cruz, Benfica FC Academy coach! Thank you to Claudia and everyone else for making these session as impactful as they could be!
Benfica and Sporting CP are two of the most historic clubs in European football and our 2013 girls got to go head to head against their academy teams!
Other opponents during this trip include professional clubs such as Vasco da Gama, Entroncamento, and ADCCMI!
A great education and footballing experience for these girls.
