Summer Camps
Come join us for a week-long camp of drills and games to continue your development over the summer break!
This year, we have camps at Eric Hamber Turf and Jericho Turf, as well as one camp for older players at Memorial South Turf. All weeks have camps available for 2011 – 2021 born players for each week through the summer. These camps focus on challenging the players appropriately, maximizing their development, and most importantly, having fun!

Awards, Grad & Recognition Night Recap
Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual Awards Night on Tuesday June 2nd! The Hollywood Theatre was packed with VanU families as we recognized and celebrated the many accomplishments from the club’s players and coaches this past season.
This was our largest Awards Night yet, and a big thank you goes out to MNP for sponsoring the event and to the Hollywood Theatre for hosting us.
Congratulations to all the award winners and good luck to our graduating players!
New Technical Leads Announced
VanU is happy to announce that two of our programs have new technical leads!
Huw Harris will be joining us as our new Academy Manager and Emily Lazenby will be our new Girls Technical Lead: U11-U13 Div 2 & 3 and U14-U18 Divisional.
We will provide an official announcement on our social media channels shortly, but please join us in welcoming Huw and Emily to their new roles!
World Cup Photo Contest
There are a few more weeks of World Cup football remaining, and we want to see your best World Cup photos!
We’ve loved seeing so many VanU families enjoying the World Cup festivities in our city during the first few weeks of the tournament! Thank you to everyone who has sent in photos already, and please continue sending them as the tournament goes on.
There are four categories to choose from so whether you attend a match in person or go to an event around the city, there’s plenty of opportunities for you to find a great World Cup-based photo!
The categories are as follows:
- Best photo from a World Cup match
- Best photo from a World Cup watch party or event around the city
- Best photo with a fan from another country
- Best photo as a fan in crazy dress up
Tag us in your photos or send them to us in an email to info@vancouverunitedfc.com. After the games are done, we’ll put out a vote for each category and the winner of each will receive a prize from the club.
