Come join us for a week-long camp of drills and games to continue your development over the summer break!
This year, we have camps at Eric Hamber Turf and Jericho Turf, as well as one camp for older players at Memorial South Turf. All weeks have camps available for 2011 – 2021 born players for each week from the end of June to mid-August. These camps focus on challenging the players appropriately, maximizing their development, and most importantly, having fun!

2012 BCSPL Boys win league title, first in club history
Our 2012 BCSPL Boys team took home the BCSPL League Title on Sunday, May 3rd, becoming the first BCSPL team in VanU history to earn the honour!
An announcement from VanU Technical Director Gus Karvelis:
“We are incredibly proud to celebrate a historic moment for our club, our 2012 Boys BCSPL team has become the first VanU BCSPL team to win the league title! This achievement is a true testament to the players’ hard work, resilience, and commitment, along with the outstanding leadership of Head Coach Mike Abdi, Assistant Coaches Ralph Cheesman and Dave Kennedy and Manager Brian Grunau.
This group has set the standard, and they’re not done yet. Their focus now shifts to the next challenge, the Provincial Premier Cup. We wish them the very best of luck as they continue their journey, and our entire VanU family will be right behind them, loud and proud, every step of the way!”
2008 Girls Play in BC Soccer Women’s B-Cup Provincial Final
The 2008 VanU Girls team put in a hard-fought performance in the Women’s B Cup Final at the BC Soccer Provincial Championships yesterday!
Although they didn’t come away with the win, the team’s journey to the final – as well as the battle they put in yesterday – deserve a massive round of applause!
Congratulations to everyone involved on a great season and impressive provincial cup run!
Update: Soccer Gear Donation Drive for Team in Tanzania
Thank you to everyone who donated cleats and other soccer gear during our donation drive for a team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania! This event was organised by Amanda Vincent (Manager of the U17 Eagles team).
Amanda arranged for the cleats, kits, and soccer balls, to be donated by VanU to a local friend who took them out to Tanzania. The team in Dar es Salaam was so excited to get the full set of VanU kits, along with all the donated balls and cleats!
