About Us

Vancouver United Football Club (VanUFC) is a new club with a long history. We are the result of the combination of three long standing west side Vancouver soccer clubs: Dunbar Soccer Association, Kerrisdale Soccer Society and Point Grey Soccer Association. In March 2011, the membership of the three clubs voted to move forward with the formation of this new soccer club. The new club inherits a long tradition of community involvement and great teams and players who have donned the respective jerseys of these founding organizations.

VanUFC is one of the largest soccer clubs in the Lower Mainland with over 3,100 players ranging in age from 5 to 18.
The club currently operates teams at the House (U6-U10) and Divisional (U11 - U18) levels at Gold, Silver and Bronze levels or Divisions 1 through 8 in their respective leagues in the lower mainland as well as 4 adult league . The club operates separate neighbourhood houses at the U6-U10 level representing the three founding clubs (Dunbar, Kerrisdale and Point Grey). The creation of the neighbourhood houses allow for families to have their respective games at the younger age groups closer to home. At the Divisional level, the club has close to 125 teams participating in the BC Coastal Girls Soccer League, 4 District Soccer League and the local Vancouver Youth Soccer Leagues for U11 and U12 teams.

VanUFC has a great history of volunteers that built the respective founding clubs and a strong group of volunteer coaches, managers, coordinators and administrators that operate the club today. We have over 1,000 volunteers that help to ensure that our players have a great experience playing 'The Beautiful Game'.
