BCSPL Pre-Season Camp

As the season approaches, our BCSPL teams have already gotten to work thanks to the pre-season camp put on at UBC near the end of August. This camp gave VanU BCSPL players the opportunity to prepare for what promises to be a big season for the club!

Led by VanU technical leads and coaches, the camp helped set the standard that all teams will strive to maintain and push even higher over the course of the next season.

Field Day 2024 at BC Place

We'll be kicking off the 2024-25 season with a big splash!

We have secured BC Place for September 7th and 8th, the opening weekend of play this fall. Last year was an amazing experience for the over 600 VanU players that got to play at the home ground of Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and this year is set to be another special occasion.

If you have not already received details about Field Day 2024, keep an eye out for more information to follow.

Women's U-20 National Team Call-Up

VanU would like to send a huge congratulations to Clare Logan for earning a well-deserved call-up to the Canada Women’s U-20 national team for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia!

Clare played with our club growing up and is a testament to what can be accomplished with dedication to developing your craft!

Drawn into Group B in the tournament, Canada will face France, Brazil, and Fiji at the tournament. Canada plays France on Saturday, 31 August, followed by the match against Fiji on Tuesday, 3 September, and Brazil on Thursday, 6 September.

The club would also like to congratulate the two other players from BC who made the squad!

Best of luck Clare! We will be cheering you on from back home!
